A Classic TV, Classic Cinema, James Bond, Friends, and Church Catch-Up Birthday Week
Turning 63 turned into one wonderful birthday week.
The celebration began on Friday, October 6, and the 40th Anniversary of Never Say Never Again, Sean Connery’s final film as James Bond, which coincided with ReMind Magazine’s terrific article published that day about my new CONNERY, SEAN CONNERY biography.
Also on October 6, The Hollywood Show began at the Burbank Marriott Hotel, where I signed copies of the CONNERY book, my revitalized BIONIC BOOK, my new RETRO ACTIVE TELEVISION book, as well as TWITCH UPON A STAR, MARY: THE MARY TYLER MOORE STORY, GLAMOUR, GIDGETS AND THE GIRL NEXT DOOR, and of my other books.
While at the Show, which continued on to Saturday, October 7, I ran into old friends including Thunderball Bond woman Luciana Paluzzi, actress/author Irene Tsu, Pia Zadora, BarBara Luna, Paul The Donna Reed Show Petersen, Stanley Livingston, and Barry Livingston both from My Three Sons), and new friends Beverly Adams Sassoon (who made her acting debut on Bewitched), Keith Thibodeaux (Little Ricky from I Love Lucy), Donna Garreck (Bambi Bond woman from Diamonds are Forever), the amazing writer/editor Karen Ruud — of ReMind Magazine, and Hollywood hair and make-up stylist legend Barbara Dally, and more.
