The Classic TV Preservation Society (CTVPS) is a formal 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that is dedicated to the positive social and professional influence of classic television.

Founded by writer/producer/TV personality Herbie J Pilato, the CTVPS has a Mission Statement that reads as follows:

The purpose of The Classic TV Preservation Society is to educate individuals, community, arts/media, business, and academic organizations and institutions on the social significance and positive influence of classic television programming, with specific regard to family values, diversity in the workplace, and mutual respect for all people of every cultural background and heritage, gender, race, and creed.

A core function of the CTVPS is The Classic TV & Self-Esteem Seminars: A Communication Series of Life-Affirming Lectures, which are brought to schools, colleges, business organizations, community and senior centers around the country.

The Seminars are divided as such:

1] The Academic Division

2] The Sincere Business Plan

3] The Senior Media Arts (S.M.A.R.T.) Program

4] Acting as Caregiver

The Seminars are offered to all facilities across the board, helping to close the gap between popular culture and education.

Email ClassicTVPS@gmail.com for more information on how to schedule a Classic TV & Self-Esteem Seminar at the facility of your choice.
