Go for an “Ice Cream,” and Embrace the Simple Treasures of Life

Anyone who knows me or my work (specifically, THE 12 BEST SECRETS OF CHRISTMAS), knows the humble life I lived growing up in the inner city of Rochester, New York.

We had little of his world calls secure, but a bunch of Love. Our needs were few, and we were easily entertained and satisfied with the simple treasures of life; going for an ice cream, “playing outside,” or just watching TV with family and friends. Because of my modest youth and upbringing, I to this day appreciate the little things in life.

I’ve done the Hollywood parties, attended big concerts, ‘yada, yada, yada.’ Those things are terrific and tremendous. But still, nothing beats “simple,” my Peeps.

I’m tellin’ ya’ — in speaking from experience at both ends of the spectrum…Nuthin’ beats “simple.”

So, call up your honey-bunny, your best friend, or your closest relative, and “go out for an ice cream.”
