I am an extremely ambitious person, and I am also extremely proud of my accomplishments. However, in the big scheme of things, our ambitions nor our accomplishments, nor our possessions, designer homes, cars, clothes and whatever else we feel we must stick a label on to impress others with…none of it, doesn’t mean a thing.
All that counts is the Love we create, experience, share, and give away. And that’s it. Nothing else. Because when we leave this world, and we come before the Gates of Love, Love will ask us, “What have you done for me?”
And how we answer that question will depend on how much further we will get to experience a different, higher kind of Love than the one we experience here on Earth.
Consequently, the completed goals, the met-objectives, the books, the scripts, the candlesticks and everything else that we make or achieve in this world will dissolve, and all that will be left will be the Love we added into the mix…the mix of making everything we created and accomplished with our ambition but not the ambition itself, nor the accomplishments.
Those things will fall into nothingness, while Love, which is the essence of who you and we all are, will remain.
So, yes — let us succeed and accomplish as much as we can in this world — but let us do so with as much Love and Loving-kindness as possible because, ultimately, that kind of ambitious accomplishment is the only thing that matters in this world — and the next.
