My Humble Upbringing — It’s All About Perspective
I was born and raised on Erie Street, at the corner of Warehouse Street in the inner city of Rochester, New York, during the 1960s and early 1970s. My family’s solid red brick house was up the street from Brown Square Park, in the shadow of the global offices of the Eastman Kodak Company, close by to where now stands Frontier Field.
My parents never had a lot of money, but we sure had a lot of love.
All these years later, I embrace my humble upbringing, which continues to guide me to appreciate every aspect of life.
It’s all about perspective.
