Delusional “Self-Awareness” is Diluting Hollywood Creativity

There seems to be an exuberant amount of “self-awareness” in television shows and feature films.

That is to say, hokey-jokey, spastic, smirky-quippy, “self-aware” acting and writing seems to be destroying the art of filmmaking and TV production. It all seems to be a bit overwhelming and nonsensical.
