The Remarkable Richard Skipper Performs at the Post Office Cafe and Cabaret in Provincetown, MA for One Night Only — August 5th

The award-winning Richard Skipper is one of those special and multi-talented souls who has the ability to experience life and translate those life experiences into something tremendous — for the benefit of all concerned.
This year marks Skipper’s 43rd anniversary in the entertainment industry, and to help celebrate the occasion, he will appear at the Post Office Cafe and Cabaret in Provincetown, NY on August 5, 2023.
An Overview of Skipper’s Life and Career
In 1979, Richard Skipper moved from Conway, South Carolina to pursue an acting career in New York City. An eventual and destined proud member of Actors Equity, Skipper has brought his gift of gab and quick wit, his vocal abilities, and his love of music to a variety of stages from Atlantic City to Las Vegas. His original blog set out to chronicle the history of Hello, Dolly! and then morphed into a talk/variety TV series, Richard Skipper Celebrates. This show ran for 2 and 1/2 years and is now syndicated on the most popular podcast platforms and YouTube.

Some of Skipper’s Career Highlights
- He’s the winner of the Turner Classic Movies Classic Film Festival Competition
- He appears in the DVD release of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella with Lesley Ann Warren [via Barnes & Noble].
- He worked with Julie Budd on her CD release interview and promotion [via Barnes & Noble].
- He produced and hosted the 50th Anniversary celebration of the Hello, Dolly! at Sardi’s in New York with original cast members.
