And Why Some Other Liquid and Food Choices Are Not
Everyone’s juicing today — and with good reason.
It’s good for you, plain and simple — especially when you juice first thing in the morning, with an electric juicer, on an empty stomach — before any solid food — with a nice 6 to 8-ounce glass of freshly-made natural juice (depending on your body size).
When you start your day with a glass of freshly-made natural juice, created from fresh fruits and vegetables (preferably more vegetables, and less fruit), you are rebuilding your body on a cellular level.
Let me repeat that:
You are rebuilding your body on a cellular level.
Because juice is a liquid, and passing through your lips and over your gums prior to any in-take whatsoever of solid foods, the healthy smooth-mix of nutrients and vitamins by-passes your digestive system and is transferred directly into your bloodstream and body cells.
And let me repeat that, too:

Consequently, a sweet, tasty, delicious freshly-made glass of juice in the morning is one of the most beneficial daily boosts you can have, free from any pharmaceutical drug or any unhealthy syrupy concoction (such as processed syrup).
However, before going further, let me clarify a few things with three main disclaimers.

I’m not a doctor, nor do I play one on TV (or anywhere else).
But the majority of my over-five decades on this planet, I have always been a healthy, fitness-minded human being who, for almost 15 years of that period, later served as a primary caregiver for both of my parents in their senior years.
In doing so, I carefully studied and researched any and all forms of health-inducing formulas, strategies, or exercise programs that were already a part of my life.
With that said, I learned in the process to select the healthiest food and drink choices possible for living an optimum life.

This healthy advice that I am offering about fresh juicing, or any health-geared advice that I offer about anything, is not for everyone. And that’s because everyone is different — and that everyone — includes you, who are reading this. You and everyone should always check with applicable, personal medical professionals/physicians when considering or changing any diet or exercise program.

The health-geared advice is meant only for those who are born healthy, and may later develop physical disorders and diseases that ultimately have the potential to be reversed. This information is not meant to be applied to anyone born with a physical malady of any kind, be it muscular dystrophy, or any other such physical challenge that anyone may have been born with.
Certainly, once cleared by your doctor, juicing may be the choice for this select group as well. But it will not have the kind of healing power that it may over someone who has developed a disease over time by eating or drinking unhealthy foods or liquids.
But Don’t Go Hog-Wild…
Just because you’re having a nice, healthy glass of freshly-made juice every day, that doesn’t mean you can then go hog-wild with less healthy food and lifestyle styles in all other areas.
Everything has to work together for the highest good.
And that also, by the way, means retaining a positive mental attitude and outlook — however you want to word it.

But back to juicing — with a nod to unhealthy liquids
Let’s explain further why choosing freshly-made juice in a juicer is the healthiest liquid choice for you — by explaining why other liquid choices are not so good for you.
Research has shown that coffee is comprised of over 500 undefined chemicals. And research has also shown that drinking coffee contributes to osteoporosis and dehydration.
Coffee may offer a periodic lift, but overall — lose it — especially if you’re having coffee the first thing in the morning on an empty stomach.
If so, that empty-stomach-first-cup of java is doing the exact opposite to your body that fresh-made juice does. While freshly-made juice helps to rebuild your body on a cellular level, coffee helps to destroy it.
So, there’s that.
Most teas, like coffee, still have caffeine in it, and that’s never a good thing. Certainly, herbal teas are healthier choices than regular teas and coffee in general. But you know, both tea and coffee are still processed drinks.
So, toss ’em — and move on.
The worst ever, processed drink, right up there with alcohol.
Milk is meant for cows.
Whether pasteurized or unpasteurized, milk is mucous-forming once in the human body, and the majority of the commercial brands on (or at) the market, are processed.
So, dump ’em all — and get juicing.
Don’t even wanna’ go there other than to say any kind of alcohol does absolutely nothing for your body.
And all of that stuff, about a glass of wine during dinner, or any time, being good for you, because it has resveratrol in it — well, that’s all that just a bunch of malarky. Get your resveratrol benefits from eating or juicing grapes.
ANY kind of alcohol poisons your blood, be it mixed drinks, beer or wine.
- Some say that freshly-made juice from a juicer must be enjoyed immediately after you make it — because if you leave it to sit for more than a day, the juice loses its nutrient potency.
- Some others say that vegetables lose their nutrients after being cooked.
To both of those theories, I say:
Because the bottom line is this — if you’re drinking freshly-made juice every day, whether or not you have it the day or two days after you made it — or if you’re having steamed or boiled vegetables every day, neither of those ingestions are detrimental in any way — and both of those ingestions are beneficial investments in your daily health.
Juicing vs. Food-Processing
Some may ask:
So, what’s the difference between using a juicer and a food processor to liquefy food and then ingest it?
There is a slight difference.
For example, if you’re juicing carrots on an empty stomach, the fiber is extracted and transferred into the back bin of the juicer, while the nutrients and vitamins of the carrots are transferred directly into your body.
There’s nothing wrong with using a food processor to liquify your fruits and vegetables, and there’s nothing wrong with having fiber liquified and ingested in your body.
But the optimum healthy choice is to liquify your fruits and vegetables in a juicer, and whatever fiber you require or are seeking, can be found with solid foods like apples, etc.
There is not heavy-handed rule that says you can’t eat carrots right after you have a nice fresh glass of fiber-less carrot juice that helps to purify your body’s cells.
It all works together.
Two Tasty Juice Combos
Carrots, Cucumbers, and Beets — This combination is delish! But be careful not to juice too much of the beet. Just a quarter beet should do it. And throwing in the beet every other day is an optimum choice, as opposed to placing a beet into the mix every day. And beets can be a little taxing on your liver when they are overtly-ingested. So, be careful on that measure.
Apples/Celery/Any Citrus Fruit — Another terrific combo. But some people can’t digest citrus fruits. So, be careful (and again, always check with your doctor or medical profession before trying any new diet or exercise choice).
The 70% Club
Lest not forget the importance of drinking purified water.
In addition to those daily glasses of fresh juice combos, drink water. Lots of it.
The human body is 70%, it thrives on hydration.
So, keep it hydrated with at least 5 to 8 glasses of purified water every day,
Almost Last but Not Yeast
In your juicing adventures, stay away from all processed foods and drinks. Lose the red meat (and all meats if possible), and kick the bread habit — completely out of your life.
Bread expands in the stomach a day or so after you ingest it, and red meat doesn’t fully digest in your body until four days after you eat it.
And that means the red meat is staying in your colon and rotting and creating disease.
Sorry — but that’s what it does.
But if you at least must have bread, then choose unique kinds, such as pumpernickel, or rye, or gluten-free brands (which by the way, isn’t always gluten-free, even if it says so on the label).
Instead, if you like your food crunchy, select flourless bread like the Ezekial brand.
Overall — remember this:
It’s one you do on a daily, consistent basis that will determine your health, for better or for worse.
So, choose wisely what you eat and drink — and in turn — live FULLY!
